6:25, Sunday night . . . Senators and groupies assembled in
the S.G.A. office to check out the week's business and
investigate projects for the coming week . . . coming
months.
Dissent among the senators frequently overwhelmed the
monotony that would have potentially ruled the weekly
group-think sessions. The result of these heated
confrontations was a finer Senate action.
The "Champaign Year" witnessed the traditional activities in
Homecoming and Springfest, and such innovative
enterprizes as Octoberfest and a tropical plant sale.
