FOOTBALL IS VERY POPULAR
Here at St. Ambrose the Intramural program serves the
students who would otherwise have no opportunity to
participate in athletic competition of an intercollegiate
nature.
Since the demise of Football as a Varsity sport on campus,
the intramural leagues have been among the most popular
of the activities offered the students by the Physical Education Dep't. Since the inception of the Intramural football
leagues they have proved to be so successful as to warrant
several expansions to include all of the student teams that
have applied for this activity. Turn to page 125 for a listing
of the Intramural champions.
