MUSIC MAN
Nostalgia hits everyone once in awhile.
When it hit Meredith Wilson, The Music Man
was the result. This composer, grown famous
in the show business world sets the musical in
his native Mason City. It is a happy show
that tells of the professional salesman, the
"con" man, who comes to River City to sell
fast. He ends up doing a quick buy of Marian,
the local librarian. Harold Hill came to an
"Iowa Stubborn" town and left it a place of
"lights, flags and colors."
