SOPHOMORES - CLASS OF 1965
Autumn 1961 brought the present Sophomores to the Campus and the
opening of the new Beehive. Here the Sophomores watched the television
coverage of the astronauts as they were thrust into space and listened to
the reports on the deaths of Dag Hammarskjold and Sam Rayburn. Like
college students everywhere, they became enmeshed in world affairs as they
actively followed the development of the Peace Corps, the Alliance for
Progress and PAVLA.
