The Most Reverend Ralph L. Hayes, Bishop of Davenport and President of
the Corporation of Saint Ambrose College, recognizes the need in
America for the continuation of the private religious institution.
Although there have been many changes in the first eighty-one
years of Saint Ambrose College life, the goals remain the
same. The greatest responsibility rests upon the college president. The Right Reverend Monsignor Collins
represents Saint Ambrose College in all that he
does. It is his duty to see that the college
maintains a standard of excellence capable
of preparing men for the world of tomorrow.
