PROLOGUE A nation's greatest wealth is her youth; her greatest defense,
her knowledge. Nowhere is there a greater supply of youth and
knowledge than in the college. Saint Ambrose College accepts the
challenge and responsibility of educating her students for the
advancement of self and nation. With emphasis upon the intellectual
and spiritual life, the college educates for the future.
The college experience brings to mind moments of joy and
sorrow, inspiration and regret. To assist the memory in recalling
the actions and events of the 1962-63 school year, we present the
1963 OAKS.
