The Quint-Cities afford Ambrosians experience in one of the most industrial communities of either Iowa or Illinois. Several
of the industries have arranged a co-op
program where the students may attend
classes a half day and receive on the job
training in their specific area the other

St. Ambrose students do not only take from the economic life of the community, but also contribute through part time work. The Davenport Community School District employs Ambrosians to drive school buses on a regular morning and afternoon schedule. Below, the bus
drivers gather a minute before making their appointed rounds. They are, left to right, D. Michalek, R. Garcia, M. Lannon, R. Menke,
G. Baur, B. Weichman, K. Zumdome, M. Carney, B. Lavery, J. Wohlters.
