Description

August twenty-eighth, 1919
Mr. G. W. Carver,

Dear Professor Carver:--
Your letter of July twenty-third reached me while I was away. I am glad to hear from you. I shall be glad to receive the southern collection of fungi. We shall appreciate this gift.
No one is at home now but Lois who was a nurse in France. Harold the only boy, is working for the highway commission this summer. Three of the girls, Edna, Doris and Violet are in Washington, D. C. and Harriet is in Clemson College, S. C. They have a son, James Pammel Seal, born in April. Mrs. Pammel is well and wishes to be remembered to you.
Yours truly,

LHP/EMT.
