Day dresses

Two day dresses with small sloped bustles, overskirts gathered into trains, heavily trimmed with ruffles or tassels, and stand-up collars. Right dress has coat sleeves with military-style frogging on sleeves, bodice is princess-cut leading into gathered fabric on derriere that forms the train. Left dress covered with long coat with diagonal line of buttons, three layers of lapels and cuffs, hat with feather and ribbon. (published by Le Journal des Dames et des Demoiselles)
