Two day dresses with bustles, underskirt has no trim, single overskirt on each has ruffle trim, sash with bow on one, both have pagoda sleeves with trim at wrist, v-lines in bodice, one has a hat with flowers and a parasol, the other has a ribbon with snood. Young boy in a suit with short pants and soutache trim, stockings and button boots. (Journal des Demoiselles)
