Morning Dress and Carriage Dress. The Morning Dress is fairly simple and includes a ruffled lace collar with matching lace bonnet (decorated with ribbon), matching earrings and a waist-long necklace, a shirred bodice with wide shoulders and leg-of-mutton sleeves, an emphasis on the waist with a belt and a full shorter skirt. The Carriage Dress has sleeve overlays trimmed with pattern fabric, wide shoulders and leg-of-mutton sleeves, and the patterned fabric is used to emphasize the waist by leading down the front of the gown, being used as a belt, and used to trim the hem. The bonnet frames the face and is decorated with lace and ribbon (published for Court Magazine)
