Basketball
Coach Bob Duax has completed his seventh year as basketball coach at
St. Ambrose, compiling a winning record of 90 victories and 73 losses. He
came to this college in 1951 after having several fine seasons at De LaSalle
high school in Chicago. Since his arrival in Davenport, the Bees, under his
guidance, have won two Midlands titles, two Iowa Conference divisional
crowns, one Iowa Conference title, and have represented Iowa in the
N.A.I.A. tourney in Kansas City.
