The upraised arm of St. Ambrose symbol-
izes for us a new era at St. Ambrose College
— an era of growth. "The Big A" has begun
the march towards new horizons of achieve-
ment, new size, new dimensions. The
Administration and Faculty have laid the
groundwork for a new St. Ambrose; one
with a view for you, the Ambrosian — for
you and your student Associates. Through
your Associations, your Athletics, your Ac-
tivities and through the day by day Adver-
tising you give your school — you have
further given this innovation both basis and
reason. This, then, is our dedication — to
the future St. Ambrose College — the ever-
growing "Big A."
