ACTIVITIES
"IT IS FOR THE WISE MAN
Delta Epsilon Sigma, a national Catholic scholastic honor
society, was organized twelve years ago to give recognition and
encouragement to high scholarship among the students and graduates of Catholic Colleges and Universities of America.
Students who qualify for this high honor shall have maintained
a scholastic rating above a "B" average and shall be included in
the first ten per cent of their class, and shall also be possessed of
such character traits as to make membership in Delta Epsilon
Sigma beneficial to all concerned.
The necessity of having such an organization on our campus
cannot be overestimated in view of its aim: To strengthen and
expand a rightly informed and vocal Catholic leadership among
Catholic students.
Xi Chapter, Delta Epilson Sigma, '51, of St. Ambrose College,
pledges itself to serve the interests of the student body here
and through that service to help stimulate Catholic leadership
in the world of tomorrow.
