TO MONSIGNOR AMBROSE J. BURKE
PRESIDENT OF SAINT AMBROSE COLLEGE
1940-1956
It would be needless to recite here the many accomplishments
of Monsignor Burke's presidency, as it would be needless
to discuss his other successes as priest and educator.
It is enough to say that he is the fulfillment of his own ideal.
As teacher, leader, and gentleman, he is himself the
exemplar of all that which he has endeavored for so many
years that his "men of Ambrose" might become.
