ST. AMBROSE 20 —IOWA WESLEYAN 14
The Broggermen met with unexpected opposition from Wesleyan's Tigers at Mount
Pleasant. A 44 yard punt return by Norb Schulz and a penalty gave Bob Flanagan
a chance to go over from the one yard line. The Tigers pushed two markers over in
the second period to lead the Bees 14-6 at halftime.
The Saints roared back with Ray Shannon bulling over from the 15 yard stripe in
the third quarter, and Flanagan sprinted 46 yards in the final stanza.
