ROYAL ORDER OF GREASY SPOONS
The Royal Order of Greasy Spoons, while one of the youngest
clubs on campus and not as yet recognized by the student
council as a chartered club, was organized two years ago but
only this past year has become active to the extent of sponsoring recreation for the students whose main ties to one another
are their jobs of waiting on the students in the college
dining rooms.
While the foremost purpose of this club is the entertainment
of its members with an annual picnic, time is usually found for
parties for some local children's organizations, this year the
guests being St. Vincents Home children.
Membership is limited to the student waiters who work in
the two student dining rooms located in Ambrose Hall. A slight
treasury is maintained by penalties assessed the waiters for
tardiness.
