St. Vincent's Home Parties
Christmas Halloween
At Halloween and Christmas, Ambrosians organize parties for the children at
St. Vincent's Home. These joyous events
are sponsored by the Chicago Club and
the Central Illinois Club, with the assistance of the Marycrest girls.
These commendable projects are held
annually, and supplement the work done
by individuals, who often return to help
the children.
Through the kindness of these Ambrosians, the children enjoy the benefits of
basketball coaches and scoutmasters. They
also take the children to the college football and basketball games.
The Sisters of Humility, who direct the
orphanage, maintain that it is difficult to
decide who enjoys the parties more, the
students or the little Vincentians.
