Description
Here is one for the
referree, as toe ball
Is knocked loose from
a group of players and
goes out of bounds.
John Leonard (41)
and Bill Crowley (22)
identifiable for St.
Ambrose.
of these seniors, not only this year but for
the past four years, has been a credit to St.
Ambrose and a source of much pride to all
followers. Their record speaks for itself.
Comments thus far have dealt mainly with
the Bees' starters. This has not been done to
slight the efforts of others. It is obvious that
men like Bill Crowley, Tom Otting, John
Leonard, Pete Stuckey and Ed Conroy, among
others, made contributions deserving of more
space than can be devoted to them in a review
such as this. For now it will have to suffice
to say that at numerous times over the season
they proved themselves capable performers,
from whom much is to be expected in the
future.
