Description
Seated from left to right: Mr. Peter Danner (Moderator), Ken Farrell, Carl Pflug, Batt Maher, John Pilarek, Bill Magee, Pat O'Toole.

Martin, Jim Laugbrin, Jack Brookhart, Bod Durnin, Jerry Waters, Harry Byrd.
Each year, twenty-one members of St. Ambrose College are elected to represent
the student body. It is their duty with the help of the Administration, to plan the
various activities which make the school year at St. Ambrose spiritually, intellectually, and socially profitable.
The Student Council cooperates with N.F.C.C.S. in sponsoring the Freshmen
Orientation program each fall.
A very successful Homecoming, which was the highlight of the social calendar
this year, was one of the many worthwhile projects that the Council has undertaken.
It is in the Student Council that a student is given the opportunity to demonstrate
capable and efficient leadership.
We may feel confident that, upon graduation, our student learers of today will
worthily accept, and efficiently carry out, the responsibility of strong Catholic
leadership so badly needed in the world of today.
