Description

During recreation after supper, one may usually find a
bridge game like this one in action: Sam Guagliardo wants to know
what was in that last trick*
In the area around the bulletin board many confabs are
held; here, Lee seems to be giving the word to
Eldred, Bush, and Kaufman.
The ringing of the Angelas signifies the end
of our daily fifteen-minute conference, and
the beginning of evening with the serving
of supper. After supper, we recreate until seven
o'clock; play cards, watch television, talk,
participate in basketball, football, volleyball,
baseball, according to season; and otherwise relax
until study time or an evening class.
In the fall, a lot of our recreation goes into the construction of a
homecoming float; this year our efforts were rewarded with
first-place honors.
Week-ends see the playing of
intramural tourney games: looks like
this pass might be blocked.
As.this shot is blocked, Sullins seems
to be up in the air, with Hosey
looking on in amazement.
The line prepares to rush
as Norman "Hoot" Goodman
centers the pigskin.
