Description
SWEETHEART DANCE
With dresses swishing
and tie pins glinting, couples passed through a lacy
Wrought Iron archway,
down a romantically lit
hallway and up a winding
staircase, bringing with
them the smell of fresh
corsages and after shave.
That was the scene at
the Sweetheart Dance,
held on Feb. 5, at the
Starlight Ballroom, downtown Davenport.
Silver Laughter provided
the music, and the S.G.A.
provided the rest, inclu-
deing balloons that fell
from the ceiling at just the
right minute. It was like
stepping into a big, lacy
Valentine.
FAR LEFT: Tim Hess and his date
enjoy the music, as do MIDDLE:
Steve Surdell and BELOW: Seniors
Mike Fitzgerald and Peggy
Schwartz just sit back and relax.
. . . like stepping into a lacy
Valentine
