THE GONG SHOW
Homecoming 1977 started out with a big bang (literally!) with the 2nd annual Gong Show, on Wed.
Oct. 12, sponsored by the
Longballers and the
S.G.A. The show had
many features similiar to
the T. V. show, including
an emcee, a panel of comic judges, a lovely matinee lady, and such favorite acts as Gene Gene, the
Dancing Machine, the unknown comic, and the Mad
Idol, along with many funny and original acts by the
looney students of this
campus all accompanied
by the prestigious Long-
baller Kazoo Band, (of
course!).
