23.Nolan elected captain of the Varsity. What for? DeClerk does all the talking.
24.Ralph Meade nearly drowns, McDonough to the rescue. "We told you, Mike'
not to put more than two feet of water in the pool."
25. "Dizzy Dugan" (Fitzpatrick) spends the evening on a soap box recounting the
evils of bootlegging. His rival, Kelly, "The Fighting Parson", spends his time
in preparing his manuscript on "Why Boys Leave Home or St. Ambrose".
26. Nothing to report today but the beans we had for dinner.
27. Pep meeting in the auditorium this afternoon. As an added attraction McDon-
ough explains the secret of his mighty strength. No wonder Samson hated the
Barber Trust.
