Description
John Blasucci and Walt Kowalczyk find the
Tower's rooms suitable for relaxing and studying
—keeping proper balance between the two is the
problem.
THE TOWERS
Ambrose Towers, formerly known
as the "Irish Village", is the newly
redecorated fourth floor of Ambrose
Hall. The students living on this
floor enjoy the comfort of having
some of their classes, the cafeteria,
the post office, the Beehive, and the
gym, under the same roof as their
room, and at their disposal without having to "brave" the outdoors.
These Tower students are those
whom one sees in the union in the
winter without a coat and wearing
their house shoes.
The Towers
Bernie Miraglia sleeps well after the KSAR was
granted and operation was begun.
CONVENT
This "convent" is so-called because it was formerly
the residence of the nuns who did the housekeeping
chores for the St. Ambrose students and faculty. Today,
this home is used as a dormitory, primarily by students
who work in the College cafeteria. This "convent" boasts
of its decorations for Homecoming, Christmas and sundry
other times when the spirit moves the inmates. The
residents are affiliated with the national "Tappa Kega
Dae".
