To Preserve Memories
A Nation Mourns Its
Commander-in-Chief
November 22 —December 22
The flag at half staff reminded
us of President Kennedy's inaugural
address, "Let every nation know,
whether it wishes us well or ill, that
we shall pay any price, bear any
burden, meet any hardship, support any friends, oppose any foe to
assure the survival and the success
of liberty." January 20, 1961.
The purpose of the St. Ambrose
Veterans Association is to bring together students who have served in
the Armed Forces of the United
States and have a mutual social
interest. This year membership
reached eighteen. The only requirement for membership is that the
applicant must have served six
months on active duty in the Armed
Forces. The club continued haying
social functions as usual this year,
and they also added the sponsorship
of a delegate to the NFCCS. The
Annual Banquet at the end of the
year was a huge success.
