Divisional Chairmen Lead Academic Staff FACULTY CHANGES AT MINIMUM Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, the academic staff of St. Ambrose is administered by the structural units of Divisions and Departments. As the College's basic unit of instruction, the Department administers its curriculum and its field of concentration. The position of the Division Chairman is a delegated executive office established by the President and the Dean. The duties of the Division Chairman are to function as coordinator of the common problems for departments within his division. There are relatively few changes in the faculty 1963-64. In September the Rev. J. P. Kelleher and Mr. E. M. Vaughan returned after leaves for study. Three new professors joined the faculty and two remain on leave for study. The Ambrosians are thankful for the excellent faculty which they have, because the earnest work of the professors and the administrators make the College meaningful. REV. PASQUALE L.
