1923 Yearbook
Description
In ye olden days when a person was caught singing, laughing, or in general, participating in a hilarious good time, either in the corridor or in the privacy of his own
room, he was politely (or otherwise) told to do his "stuff" in the gymnasium.
It so happens that in the latter half of May, during the reign of spring football, the
customary old ones were being reviewed as the boys took their shower. Suddenly,
(guess who) strode into sight and commanded with a Napoleonic air that the "Grand
Opera" cease temporarily and permanently. So, according to our friend Bush what's
a poor boy going to do?
Sign seen in Fay's Shoe Store: "Rubber
heels while you wait." Hope she washes
her feet."
Frantic Senior (to Prefect of Studies) :
"Oh, Professor, I'm right at the door of
flunking."
P. of S. (obligingly) : "Never mind,
I'll pull you through."
As Seen in the Press
"The Saints will have easy going with
Cotton to fall back on."
"St. Ambrose hopes brighten as Cotton
is picked."
Barry: "Did you ever hear of a person
killed by a deadly glance?"
Bloom: "No, but I know of a guy who
got a broken arm due to an empty stair."
