Description
The sports scene was a special feature, providing
to be exciting, yet containing some elements of both drama and comedy.
Rivals such as Loras, Marycrest, and Augustana College kindled spirit
throughout the various sports seasons.
Racquetball captured the attention of student
and faculty. Joggers were not an infrequent
vision. Tennis courts and pool tables were almost
always occupied.
Comedy, a perennial favorite, availed as
strongly as ever. Campus was often silent
during "Mash" episodes and local comedy surfaced at such activities
such as SAC's version of"The Gong Show."
Making it seem like routine, this Bee grabs a few yards. Was the catch
as hard as the landing?
As judge for "The Gong Show" in Homecoming tradition, Andy Reagen
shows mercy only for the audience
