BUCK-BUCK ANYONE?
The dance was billed
as a formal however, it
harbored several informal moments. Consider the graceful
game of Buck-Buck
(right photo). It takes
its origin from group
wrestling, popular
among barbarians of
several unknown cultures. As far as anyone
can discern, the object
of Buck-Buck is for
one team to pile on another team thus
wreaking havoc and
causing mayhem.
Nonetheless, normal
formal activities persisted such as tripping
the light fantastic with
Steve O'Connell (lower left) and the sharing
of a somewhat quiet
moment between Laura Sobaski and John
Wells (lower right).
