Description
The proposed physical education
center shall be 40,000 to 44,000
square feet in size, located on the far
northeast section of campus. This
center shall provide for both the educational and health and/or recreational needs of the Ambrosian community. Provisions for basketball,
tennis, volleyball, wrestling, raquet-
ball, gymnastics, and other physical
conditioning activities, besides the
regular locker rooms and offices, are
included. Retractable bleachers
seating up to 2000 people will line
the walls. Expandable classrooms, as
well as areas for teaching recreational sports or working with the
handicapped, shall fulfill some of the
student's educational needs. This
steel framed structure shall be aesthetically faced with red brick to
compliment the other structures on
campus. Additional parking spaces
shall be placed adjacent to the new
building.
