OKTOBERFEST
The seventh annual Oktoberfest,
sponsored by the Student Government Association, consisted of two
nights of fun for the college and surrounding community. Even though
weather conditions forced the events
inside, spirits were not dampened as
students danced to the tunes of Ro-
sie's Polka Dots. (1) Special polka
instructors directed novices in the
art of polkaing. (2) As the evening
progressed, couples like Chris Peters
and Chris Mowry swung each other
about to the band's stomping beat.
(3) Onlookers caught the beat with
their hands, too unsure of their own
feet. (4) Phil Maicke, Jane Cavan-
agh, and Jim Stangle, however,
threw caution to the wind and attempted a tricky dance step.
