Commercial Class Poem
Our College, we greet thee with loyal devotion;
To faculty, schoolmates, we bid our farewell;
Our hearts are o'erflowing with tender emotion
And gratitude such as we hardly can tell.
Classmates, farewell; do not grieve at the parting,
'Tis a moment of joy that is crowned with a sigh.
As we each on the highway, are just newly starting,
Let "Deeds rather than words" be our heart-fervent cry.
Success we will seek though our cares be oppressing;
Though life with its burdens may all seem in vain,
Our motto remembering, our colors caressing,
Let us "go over" and victory gain.
