Description
Perhaps the best work in the play, however, was done by Louis Rohret,
as Ambrose Peale, the advertising agent. His arguments and the manner
in which he persistently voiced them, were sufficient to convince the most
hesitating. Ellery Clark, as interpreted by Joseph Malone, was a "swell"
indeed, and his effeminate disposition caused many a laugh. Joseph Barnes,
as Miss Burke, the office girl, gave a decided impression of business to the
office of the "Thirteen Soap Company." Francis McGivern and James
Skelley were unable to appear, but their parts were ably taken by Raymond
Coen and Anthony Jaeger. On the whole, there was not a single flaw in
the performance and it is hoped that another equally good play will be
prepared for the near future.

automobile or a polo pony—you're going to marry a girl aren't you ?"
Thomas Wolfe as Mary Grayson: "Sit down. That isn't all; we get

$30,000 and me $20,000.
