PEOPLE
We are all very, very important people.
Because individually we can do
great things, and when we work with others we
can perform amazing feats.
We are all the same—
yet very different, these differences forcing
us to be catagorized and generalized
to aid in making our system even more
bureaucratic, so we can fumble
around in mountains of red tape.
Our individuality is what makes
a college tick*
Everyone can find their own niche,
their own wrinkle to fit into.
Without this life could be
described as one dull shade of gray,
without the brilliant colors of
each of us. The hues of enthusiasm and
apathy, the ever growing apathy.
At St. Ambrose you learn not only the books—
but also the "ropes",
of how to cope in the world today, and
perhaps tomorrow.
Finding out that life itself is a
never-ending education.
We mix the colors of mathematicians and
artists, liberals and conservatives,
the old and the young,
rich and poor, the ones seeking to
be understood and those seeking to
understand—together these form
our mystical shade of gray, commonly
referred to as SAC 79.
