Bringing Wilma Rudolph on campus
was the highlight of the year in the
Black Student Union. This took place
during Black Awareness Week.
The BSU had a barbequed chicken
and ribs stand at Oktoberfest for a
fund raiser. This helped support "Wilma" and any improvements they wished
to make on the Black House.
INTERNATIONAL
STUDENTS
ORGANIZATION
The International Students Organization was in its second year of existence this year. The group is not money-making or fund oriented. The main
function of the group is to give foreign
students on campus more of a welcome feeling. They provide a group
type counseling for problems of the
newcomers.. Many parties are held
throughout the year to aid in producing a community effect among the students from many nations.
