SIGMA
PI
The Business Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, was organized to foster the
study of business by enhancing classroom education through both professional and social activities associated
with the commercial world.
The fraternity started the year with
the sponsorship of the annual Woodsie,
which enables students to get acquainted with each other. Another important event was the sixth annual
career day, in which a number of businesses presented job opportunities.
Remodeling of the office in Davis
Hall was a major project completed
over Christmas break. Faculty and administration commended the frat on a
job well done.
Spring break gave the opportunity
for twelve members to enjoy a weekend in Chicago touring businesses and
taking part in the city's nightlife. The
annual Rose Formal highlighted spring
activities.
A representative from International Harvester spoke to the fraternity.
Many long hours were spent in the union looking for possible pledges.
