A GREAT WAY TO END THE SOCIAL YEAR
Bad weather causing the cancellation of
Springfest brought about St. Ambrose's
first "Last Blast".
At about 4:30 Friday May 4th students
began to creep out of South and East halls
to hear "Fancy Free", an acoustic band
which played easy listening music.
As the evening wore on the Quad filled
itself with more students and more beer.
Temperatures cooled down towards evening, but the enthusiasm and spirits kept
things on the warm side.
"Split Decision was the band that played later in the evening. The band was quite
versatile and full of talented musicians.
Last Blast served as a great time to party
before all the hassles of finals and term
papers.
Karen Blomme and Ann Mahoney are partyin' down.
'Split Decision", a stage band, proved to be very entertaining.
