RIGHT REV. AMBROSE J. BURKE
President of St. Ambrose
PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
The School year 1949-1950 has been a good year at St.
Ambrose, featured by the largest graduating class in all the
history of the College. It has been fruitful in accomplishment
with the promise of greater things to come. I would list the
decision to begin the building program in 1950, the preparation
of a campus master plan, and the organization of the alumni
into an interested, loyal, and enthusiastic group as the most
worthwhile projects of the year, affecting students and graduates alike.
