Description
Program
The Intramural program of St. Ambrose College is designed to fulfill many
needs of the student body. The program
is arranged so that every student can
benefit from it. Organization is left to the
students; the activities are carried out
largely under student supervision. Purely
a non-compulsory program, intramural
participation takes in more than two-
thirds of the student body. The program
is geared to include many sports, thereby providing an area for each student's
specialty. The activities which make up
the calendar are: flag football, tennis,
football pass and kick contest, jogging,
horse shoes, tug-of-war, cross country,
volleyball, badminton, paddleball, a
swim meet, table tennis, basketball,
wrestling, free throw, chess, billiards,
bowling, water polo, golf, handball,
softball and track.
