Coach Leo Kilfoys Bee Basketballers, '67-
'68 version, started with a bang by dropping Platteville, Wisconsin in the season
opener but then ran into tough sledding
in the rough and tumble scheduling of the
Midlands Conference & were 1—6 as the
Holiday Tournament began.
The team managed to salvage a third-
place finish in the December classic which
is becoming a tourney of some reckoning.
Things looked a bit brighter as the big
Bees roared through four straight victories finally being halted by St. Norberts
of Wisconsin in a high-scoring spree on
the latters home court. For a completion
of the schedule, turn to page 148.
