NFCCS
Perennially outstanding on this campus
is the organization known as the National
Federation of Catholic College Students.
Few stories by any editorial staff would do
justice to many promotions that this
national club sponsor each year. At the
Local campuses, for example, NFCCS
presented: The Iowa Regional Chicken
Barbeque in October at SAC and the Fall
Fair during the same month, following
the Fall Conference of the Iowa Region
held at Marycrest. On December 9, a
teach-in, "the Relevance of God and
Religion" was held at St. Ambrose. On
January 12, SAC and MC jointly sponsored the Newcore Seminar. March 9-10
found the Quad-Regional Seminar on the
Ambrose campus. These and many other
less publicized events have taken place
on the respective Davenport campus
sites during this academic year.
