ACADEMICS &
Student Council
The Officers and members of the Student Council are working for the benefit
of their fellow students and the college.
Activity is the product most prized by
these student leaders and organizers.
While providing a worthy agency for student involvement in school affairs, the
Council reflects total participation in
student government. Through this work
the student grows in maturity, leadership capabilities and learns
the important lessons of organization and its values. Outstanding Accomplishments of this group indicative of their concern
for school affairs. Students are now allowed to be members of
Faculty administrative boards and serve on the Academic Senate.
The Student Council President is a member of the Judiciary
Board. Work by the Council resulted in a new policy on 'cuts'.
The Student Council can take pride in their promotion of one of
the best Homecomings this college will experience.
