HOMECOMING
"Good Ol' Times"
This year's homecoming set November off with a bang as the Scene of Scenes hit our two campuses. Probably no other time in the history of our two schools has such a "fantabulous" time been had by everyone. The fever of the pre-homecoming activities began weeks before the big weekend. The entire Quad-City area seemed to be aware of the intense joy and gaity that enveloped our campuses as numerous news specials hit the front pages of area newspapers in noting and lauding the huge success of the whole affair. It soon became common knowledge that St. Ambrose and Marycrest had most assuredly reached a zenith in social events. The by-word by the success of the 1967 Homecoming was student-involvement. This key asset was the reason for a sheer work of genius in coordinating and carrying-out this unique event. The efforts of numerous men and women were coordinated to produce this marvelous aura of festive atmosphere for three full days. Many contributed without reward and all involved worked diligently so that others could enjoy themselves. The entire Homecoming was surely a masterpiece of excellence that will not soon leave the minds of all students no fade from their hearts.
