Description

Acknowledgments
The '62 OAKS was produced by a tightly knit, heavily overworked and sometimes
macabre group of students.
Among these were:
Mike Russell and Mort Downey who constantly did more than their part;
Jean Donohue and Barb Brandt whose long hours brought obvious finesse to their pages;
Bob Bistan whose efforts enabled us to finance this book;
Marty Garino and Mike Morson ("Bong") whose art work enhances these pages;
Terry McGrath, an assett to the senior pages;
Alice Moehlenhof and Pat Boldt who had their hearts in their work;
Chuch Bubany and Dick Barclift, editors supreme of their respective sections;
Dick Marriott who brought us a fine music and drama section;
Emery Rhodes and Bernie Axten, the mighty minds behind our literary efforts;
Lloyd Altera, Mike Gray, Jerry Bauer, Joe Esop and all others whose works and sundries
meant much to the OAKS.
I heartfully thank:
Our Advisor, Miss Agnes Renner, whose experience and advice helped at all times;
Mr. Tom Chouteau for his fine portrait of Msgr. Collins;
Mrs. Florence Delevere and Miss Monholland for their unlimited charity;
Mr. John Schmits, our advisor on design, layout, etc.;
Father Greene whose facilities were of unlimited value;
The Ambrosian News, Mr. Don White and the Development office for needed photos and
copy work;
And Bill ("God bless the Irish!") O'Connor, publishers' representative with wit, willingness
and wisdom that he used to set the pace of this publication;
The Editorship of the '62 OAKS has been an honor affording a chance to capture in print
and photos the essence of activity here at St. Ambrose. I thoroughly enjoyed my part in
relating them to you.
