Student Council Moderator
The center of student government at St. Ambrose College
is the Student Council. Members include selected student
representatives, class officers and club presidents. The
Council meets each week during the school year to plan
and organize all student activities. The Student Council
serves as a representative of St. Ambrose to the general
public. It strives to promote better relations between the
student and student government and between student
government and college administration.
An attraction at Campus athletic events has been the appearance of King Bee, the Bees' official mascot. King Bee
and the sale of pep buttons were sponsored by the Council. Headlining Council-sponsored events were Orientation
week activities, the annual Homecoming weekend, Field
Day, the Mud Bowl game, the appearance of Marian
Makeba and the Chad Mitchell Trio and the co-sponsorship of the Tri-School Christmas party.
