Description
Big Brothers Club
Of all the clubs active at St. Ambrose College,
the one which is most sincere and dedicated to
current social problems is the Big Brothers Club.
The members of this group are all serious in
their approach to the needs of others. The only
real requirement to this responsible organization
is a sincere willingness to aid the unfortunate by
sacrificing one's own personal time.
The needy, especially children, are aided by
this small group of St. Ambrose students. St.
Vincent's Home, the Annie Wittenmeyer Home
and the Friendly House are just a few of the local
organizations to benefit from this group of
earnest students. But the gang does pull off one
social function a year to provide a bit of social
relaxation.
FRONT: Ed Cunningham, John Heidtke, John 'Moon' Vogel, Joe
Sweeney, Mike Schutze, Tim Sheedy and Kevin Zerull. REAR:
Mike Toohill, John Schwieters, Jim Grayson, Rich Toohill,
Mike Maher, John Kulovits and Pat Shelton.
