After four years of living within an institution, one has usually come
away affected by it without making a constructive contribution to its
betterment. Since Mike Walsh was elected president of the sophomore
class, he has worked to prevent situations of this type. As a member of
the Student Government Association, and, finally, as its president, Mike
has emphasized the importance of each individual student as well as
that of the student body in formulating administrative policy. The greatness of this institution will in no small way be due to the dedication and
perseverance of Mike Walsh. It is for this reason that the Oaks staff honors
him.
