St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church during the 1897 Dedication Ceremony. Building to left of the Church is a small school house built in 1897 and used for religious instruction.
On March 12, 1945, St. Peter Lutheran Church was destroyed by fire with only the contents salvaged. The new church was built on the same location and completed in 1946.
