Description
Little All American and Captain
All good things come to an end! And
so, with the passing of Nick Kerasiotis,
St. Ambrose will always remember Nick as
a truly great grid performer. From the
time Nick took over the regular right guard
position in his freshman year, he was essentially known for his vicious play and
clean sportsmanship. As a tribute for his
excellent four-year stay, Nick was placed
on the official Little Ail-American team in
his junior and senior years besides being
selected on several other mythical elevens.
The rugged guard was lauded on the Greek
Ail-American for three years, All-Conference squad in his final three campaigns,
and in his last year was named on the All-
Catholic college football team. Because
of his unusual ability over this period, Nick
was named honorary captain of the St.
Ambrose 1940 football team by his teammates.
